When viewing the world, I see color, nature, and a blending of realism & abstraction.
One of the major themes of my work is the glory of growth, change, and movement. Many of my paintings, and other styles of work of art, incorporate these concepts. In other words, I let bright colors of the paint determine the subject. I love the creative process and I'm driven to explore new dimensions of painting.
I have always been an art lover and have visited many galleries throughout the world. I enjoy spending time studying many works of art which have led to the inspiration to reinterpret nature as I see it. After retiring from a career where the other analytical side dominated my brain, I started painting. Many of my works of art can be found in collections thought out the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. As pictured to the left, I'm showing some of my works of art at one of the many Washington D.C. and metropolitan area art shows I participate in on a regular basis.
